Finance Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager is expected to:
  • Protect the legal, financial and moral wellbeing of the dealership;
  • Understand and adhere to group sales process to promote sales and customer service satisfaction;

  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.
Reports to: General Manager

Primary Duties: 
1. Maximize production, customer service and profitability.
  • Achieve or exceed group standards such as sales production, gross profit and applicable benchmarks which result in profitability and customer service satisfaction.
  • Sell financial, extended service contracts, maintenance contracts, credit life and accidental and health insurance, GAP, Century products and approved aftermarket products to customers. 
  • Assist and support the efforts of sales managers to ensure all car deals are structured to achieve reasonable profit and customer satisfaction. Assist sales desk as needed. 
  • Accurately and timely complete customer paperwork to ensure proper guarantee of checks, collection of monies due and collection of vehicle receivables, contracts in transit, correct title, lien information, taxes and down payment.
 2. Establish Customer Relationships.
  • Present the Group's menu 100% to each customer to promote sales and value. 
  • Safeguard and secure the privacy of all customer information, files and records to maintain adherence with all the compliance regulations. 
  • Expedite open customer issues utilizing appropriate report tools such as the daily heat sheet, contracts in transit, checklists, and customer down payment reports to ensure funding notification within group standard delivery. 
  • Effectively communicate and assist with customers to provide excellent service.
3. Team and Employee Relationships.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with finance sources and factory representatives. 
  • Effectively communicate with and build rapport with sales staff and accounting personnel to strengthen process. 
  • Be supportive, provide open work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and creativity.
4. Personal Development and Integrity.
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others. 
  • Educate self, communicate and teach others about current finance rates, financial regulations and compliance standards.

Primary Duties:

  • Adhere to Larry H. Miller sales process to achieve or exceed group standards such as sales production, gross profit and applicable benchmarks which result in profitability and customer service satisfaction.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of current automotive products, features, benefits, specifications, prices, options, models and equipment to effectively communicate with customers and exceed customer satisfaction benchmarks. 
  • Accurately review sales orders and invoices for proper completion and calculations.
  • Effectively communicate with and perform all job duties requested by management.
  • Ensure safe operation and transportation of all vehicles at all times and adhere to all OSHA and LHM policy requirements.

  • Wash, clean and dry all cars as required and ready for delivery.
  • Effectively communicate with technicians and management to ensure the operation is appropriately cleaned, organized and safe. 
  • Advise service manger of needed repairs and/or maintenance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are secured and locked prior to close of business. 
  • Perform all job duties requested by management.

Chrysler Certified Technicians Service Technician

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control.
  • Perform all repairs utilizing appropriate tools, procedures and operations.
  • Disassemble and assess any supplemental needs, labor, parts, and communicate with Shop Foreman or Assistant Service Manager.
  • Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts or procedures.
  • Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding any issue which may cause a repair delay to a vehicle.
