The warmer months have arrived, and we’re itching to step outside of the dealership and explore. The destination? Dessert central. During the spring and summer, you’ll find us out and about at various sweet treat spots around Denver, and we’d like to share a few that we’ve found so far.
Pop-tarts
No, we’re not talking about the plain breakfast tart. We’re talking about the decadent pastry filled with various yummy flavors, including strawberry, blueberry, and our favorite, Nutella. This dessert pairs great with a cup of coffee, and you can order it at Sugar Bakeshop.
Parliament Bars
If coffee and pastries aren’t your style, how about tea and an English treat? We recommend the delicious Parliament Bars at House of Commons. Here, you can also find other authentic English bites like cucumber sandwiches, scones, and quiches. This is the place to go for afternoon tea any day of the week.
Macaroons
When you’re in the mood for an Italian style treat, head on over to Wooden Spoon Café for their tasty coconut chocolate macaroons. This is a cozy spot great for a date or catching up with an old friend. We recommend accompanying your macaroons with a cappuccino. Try their biscotti, too.
