Five Binge-Worthy Shows Coming Back This Fall

568 × 312

Fall is right around the corner, and we know what that means: pumpkin spice everything, Labor Day sales, and sweater weather. Additionally, with every season change comes a new lineup of binge-worthy Netflix and Hulu TV. We have put together five of our top shows to binge watch this fall. Don’t worry, we chose to leave out any show-ruining spoilers.

Hulu

Castle Rock—Season 1

Premiering July 25, 2018

Castle Rock is an all-new Hulu Original. The show is categorized as a thrilling horror-drama that combines several of Stephen King’s creepiest masterpieces, including The Shawshank Redemption, Cujo, The Dark Half, IT, and more. The overlap of stories within King’s masterpieces is not entirely new for the novella world but is a completely new transition into television. Creepy and entirely binge-worthy, bring IT on.

The First

Premiering September 14, 2018

Another Hulu original, The First follows the stories of those brave enough to venture into the unknown, including the prices paid for space exploration. Starring Academy Award-winner Sean Penn and created by House of Cards’ Beau Willimon, The First explores the challenges of exploring Mars. Sure to be a tear-jerker, we recommend watching with a box of tissues and a comforting blanket nearby.

Netflix:

Better Call Saul—Season 4

Returning August 7, 2018

Returning to Netflix for a fourth season, Better Call Saul is based before Jimmy McGill turned into Saul Goodman, the primetime attorney for Breaking Bad’s infamous meth-dealer Walter White. The show tells the story of a small-time lawyer trying to make a splash in the ocean of salty defense attorneys. Throughout the show, Jimmy partners up with a private detective by the name of Mike Ehrmantraut. Mike has a very specialized skill set and a habit of making ominous situations magically improve. Season 4 promises as much drama and seedy happenings as its sister seasons.

Ozark—Season 2

Returning August 31, 2018

Season 1 of Ozark was dark and twisted, and Season 2 promises to kick it up a notch. Marty Byrde is in with the wrong crowd, and his entire family became involved by the end of Season 1. This season, the family must learn how to not only stay afloat but also how to manage a riverboat casino. Grab a cozy spot on the couch, because once this season goes live, you’ll be in binge-mode until it’s over.

House of Cards—Season 6

Returning November 2, 2018

A Netflix original, House of Cards follows the life of U.S. Rep. Francis Underwood and his wife as they attempt to take down The Man himself, Mr. POTUS, Garrett Walker, for making false promises to Underwood. A drama that offers insight into the corruption behind American politics, House of Cards is nail-bitingly binge-worthy. However, with the real-life drama surrounding the Kevin Spacey allegations from last year, producers have confirmed that this season is the final season. It was also confirmed that Francis Underwood will not appear in this season…so prepare for some sharp turns. Hold on tight to your popcorn.
