Happy Birthday Jeep Brand | Larry H. Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 104th

On July 15th, Jeep Brand celebrated their 75th anniversary. The brand has been around since 1941, initially building military vehicles. To honor this, Jeep Brand built a Commemorative Wrangler 75th Salute Concept Vehicle.

On July 15th, 1941, the Willys-Overland Motor Co. was awarded a contract by the United States government to build the very first Willys MB. The Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute concept vehicle was created to tribute the brand's military heritage, designed to be a modern Willys MB.

To add to the nostalgia, the Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute concept vehicles was manufactured in the same assembly plant that has produced the Jeep Wrangler for decades, located in Toledo, Ohio.

Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand - FCA Global said, "“We are creating this unique Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute concept vehicle in celebration of the brand’s legendary history, and to demonstrate that 75 years later, today’s iconic Jeep Wrangler is instantly recognizable and clearly connected to the original Willys MB."

The Jeep Brand began developing vehicles for civilian use after 1945, and they've become known for their SUVs with class-leading capability, craftsmanship, and versatility. Their vehicles are suited for both thrill seekers and city slickers alike.
